Corporate Training

The business of doing business evolves faster today than any other time in history. As a result successful organizations are proactive and introspective through all levels of the organization. Interaction needs to be frequent and candid. Activities are driven by the vision and strategic plan. Flexibility and change is part of the culture. These are critical components of organizational development.

Integral to the business strategy is an appreciation of, and a plan for, skill enhancement of all associates.

  • Associates promoted to supervision / management trained to perform accordingly…not left to learn through osmosis or the school of hard knocks.
  • Developmental plans linked to performance appraisals tie to departmental/organizational goals.
  • Succession plans serve as fiscally prudent programs and efficiency enhancements.
  • Mentoring programs provide recognition, enhance industry knowledge, and consider life balance.

Leadership Team Development

Leadership team development provides a forum for focused discussion with objective assessment of processes and procedures among the organization’s leaders. Resulting action items challenge team members to critically assess the performance of their respective areas; identify efficiencies and address issues.

3rd Party Audits

Facilitation of interactive audits as a third party provides an organization with candid and constructive customer (internal and external) and vendor feedback. These departmental and organizational audits are developed in conjunction with the executive and/or designated manager to achieve specified objectives.

Feedback is summarized with observations of trends; critical feedback shared, but not germane to the specified objectives, is passed on to the coordinating manager. A follow-up meeting is scheduled to determine what action items will result.

The premise of coaching is the individual is capable of enhancing their performance; they have the ability but need guidance and feedback. As with an athlete, shared objectives are identified, a practice schedule evolves, drills are assigned and performance improves.

Coaching concerns frequently involve:

  • Multi-tasking
  • Effective communication
  • Project management
  • Time management
  • Team building
  • Sales management

Associate Profiling

Associate profiling provides valuable information regarding organizational communication tendencies, hiring trends, and recurring procedural challenges. A compilation of the profiles of the management team is a tool for understanding departmental silo issues.

Associates use these tools for consideration as their career path evolves. For example some management candidates realize that confrontation is challenge for them…thus this is an area for future development.
